蘋果班戟 x 2021年6月24日

2012年 | 2012感恩節,受邀到一位好朋友家吃飯。好友媽媽早餐弄了這個蘋果pancake(又名「Dutch baby」),非常深刻,是我第一次吃過這麼鬆軟、香甜又有特色的早餐,完全打破我對pancake的想像。當中蘋果味道清香,與肉桂配搭一流,至今仍回味無窮。

2021年6月24日,用此食譜記下香港重要的一天。

份量:其他

所需時間:45分鐘

材料:

雞蛋 4 隻
麵粉 3/4 杯
奶 3/4 杯
鹽 1/2 茶匙
牛油 1/4 杯
蘋果 2 個(切片)
糖 1/4 杯
肉桂粉 1/4 茶匙

步驟:

  1. 焗爐預熱至200°C。

  2. 將雞蛋、麵粉、奶和鹽攪拌均勻。

  3. 準備兩個耐熱或能放入焗爐的平底鍋,每鍋熱溶2湯匙牛油,然後鋪上蘋果片。將麵糊倒在蘋果上。灑上糖和肉桂粉。

  4. 焗20-25分鐘。

Dutch Baby Apple Pancake x 24 June 2021

2012 | A good friend invited me to her place for Thanksgiving in 2012. Her mum made these apple pancakes for breakfast (AKA “Dutch baby”). They were mindblowing to me and completely changed my impression of pancakes. It was my first time eating something so fluffy and refreshing, and the taste of the apples paired perfectly with the cinnamon. I remember this breakfast fondly to this day.

24 June 2021, I decided to use this recipe to remember an important day in Hong Kong.

Serves: Other

Total cooking time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

4 eggs
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
2 apples, thinly sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

  2. Mix together the eggs, flour, milk, and salt.

  3. Melt 2 tbsp butter in each pan. Arrange apple splices at the bottom of pans. Pour batter over apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

  4. Bake 20-25 mins.
